gifted education; innovation, creativity; basic-higher education & psychology will be held in paris from 3-6 july 2018. please visit the conference website: www.paris.icieconference.net . ongoing and recent projects policy tools & frameworks eiesp is a partner in the innoval project (innovative assessment methods for validation), which gathers 6 eu partners and work towards valid & reliable assessment methods to allow all learners to have a chance at validation, with a focus on disadvantaged groups such as migrants, long-term unemployed, and those with adverse experience with formal education including school-based assessments. the eiesp participated in a comparative study commissioned by the bertelsmann foundation on the recognition and validation of non-formal and informal learning . eiesp and ecorys uk are leading a study on policies to develop, support and incentivise teacher quality . the aim of the study is to map policies, strategies and initiatives to increase student learning outcomes, to provide case studies on effective and innovative examples, and to explore options for policy. a study for cedefop, the application of learning outcomes approaches across europe – a comparative perspective has just been published. the study lead partners for the study were ecorys polska, eiesp and wyg psdb in hungary. the study builds on the previous study 'the shift to learning outcomes'. study on policy measures to improve the attractiveness of the teaching profession in europe : this study was carried out for the directorate-general for education and culture of the european commission. education and training in france in 2025: eiesp participated in a foresight study about education and training in france in 2025 coordinated by futuribles international. eiesp is bringing in the european context and perspective. please click to download the report . the eiesp participated in a study on early childhood education and care (ecec) in promoting educational attainment including social development of children from disadvantaged backgrounds and in fostering social inclusion. this study was designed to inform policy-making with new insights into success criteria concerning accessibility and quality in the field of ecec. in 2011, eiesp took part in the participatory citizenship in europe project , a study with the main goals of clarifying the concept of participatory citizenship and its interpretation among the 27 eu member states. networks for innovation the eiesp was a partner in the european policy network on the implementation of key competences in school education (keyconet), a policy network identifying and analysing emergent strategies in implementing key competences into education reforms, and produce recommendations. the network is led by european schoolnet (eun). you can now view the keyconet site and the final recommendations report as well as the dublin peer learning visit report. please click here for details about the project. eiesp is supporting the ec toolkit editorial board , which will provide up-to-date references on effective educational practices for its online platform, the european toolkit for schools. it is structured around five main areas : school governance ; support to learners ; teachers ; parental involvement ; and stakeholder involvement. please click here for the project description. eiesp was a core member of the european literacy policy network ( elinet ). this network was initiated to gather and analyse policy information ;
